Is there a way to not delete the pauses but instead make the cuts, lift them one track so I can clearly see what are pauses and what are not but I still have them in my timeline?

Good concise video. Is it possible to use this new feature with multiple video tracks? Thanks to your video, I suppose I could use LIFT...and that would leave a gap that I could then manually, but precisely, edit another video track. But, hoping there is another way. Thanks!

Not sure if you'll see my comment because this video is 1 year old now, but here goes. I used to be able to use my mouse roller to move the timeline but now I can't, what button did I hit for this to change on me all of a sudden? A little more detail, once I hovered my mouse cursor over the video playback window I could move the mouse roller forward or backward to move the timeline vertical blue line forward or backward to make minor adjustments. Now when I do it the video playback window gets smaller or larger. Hope you get what I'm talking about, right now I'm searching UA-cam for a fix haha.

when i do it 1:1 the Speed is outgreyed and i cant type here anything Do you know why? i use Pr CC 2017

The second option which you showed which contains folders of all apps..... so is it ok to copy the entire ADOBE folder which is inside the roaming folder ? And that will restore settings for Media Encoder / After Effects / Photoshop ?

What if you’re working with more than one track, like three or four that are synced? If you do the ripple delete, will it ripple the whole timeline on all tracks?

Thanks for this. I'm transferring over from Pinnacle Studio 15, and miss the easy manipulation of the timeline (for lots of tiny 1-3 frame cuts). But holding ALT does something similar, so ima try your go-to.

Thank you very much! Finally works!

You can do that easily now with the Simplify Sequence option. Select all clips > Sequence > Simplify Sequence. You can also make a shortcut for this panel option.

I don't have eyedropper type tool at 1:13 it's not there.

With a program as technical as Adobe Premiere Pro, you would think they would have a Hotkey Function to perhaps remove multiple transitions. For example, I am not pleased with my audio transitions only. I have about 40 across a 30 min video. Was just looking for a way to highlight only the audio and delete out the transitions in between

vegas pro takes the bread for this specific action, you can literally just drag and drop to a whole track and make a track with a dedicated effect, idk why premiere pro doesnt have this feature
